File Manager & FTP

Ray Hosting provides a comprehensive Web File Manager and standard FTP/SFTP access to give you total control over your server files.

Web File Manager Features

Navigate to the File Manager tab to interact directly with your files.

• Basic Actions: Create new files/folders, Cut, Paste, Rename, Delete, and Download.
• Archive Management: You can upload .zip archives and use the Unzip Archive tool. Tip: Start unzipping to see logs to ensure all files are extracted correctly.

Steam Workshop Mods

For supported games, our File Manager integrates with Steam Workshop:

1. Workshop mods are downloaded automatically into /serverfiles/steamapps/workshop/content.
2. To use them, you must move the desired mod files using the file manager into the correct game folder (e.g., /addons, /mods, /custom), depending on the specific game.
3. They will not load until placed in the right location.

FTP & SFTP Access

For large modpacks or bulk transfers, we recommend using an FTP client (like WinSCP or FileZilla).

1. Open the FTP Credentials section in the File Manager.
2. Here you will find your Hostname, Username, and Port.
3. You can set a new FTP/SFTP password here. (Password must be a mix of letters and numbers).
4. Enter these details into your FTP client to connect.
