PhpMyAdmin & MySQL Databases

Ray Hosting provides robust database management directly integrated into your service, essential for games and plugins that store large amounts of player data.

Database Information

Navigate to the Database tab to view your credentials. Here you will find:

• PhpMyAdmin Hostname & Username
• MySQL Hostname, Username, & Port

Note: The PhpMyAdmin password is hidden by default. You can reveal it by clicking "View Password".

Updating Credentials

If you need to change your database access:

1. Click on Update Credentials or Set new PhpMyAdmin Credentials.
2. You will be required to enter your Current Account Password for security.
3. Enter your new database password. (It must be a mix of letters and numbers).
4. Submit the changes. Be sure to update any plugins configured with the old password!

FastDL (Fast Downloads)

If you are hosting Source engine games (like Garry's Mod or CS:GO), you may see FastDL options.

• Nginx Powered: Our FastDL system is tied to our high-performance Nginx infrastructure.
• It allows joining players to download maps, models, and materials at ultra-fast speeds directly from a web directory rather than the slow game-server connection.
• You will find your FastDL Hostname and FastDL Directory in your panel if supported by your game.
