PhpMyAdmin & MySQL Databases

Ray Hosting gives you robust database management baked right into the panel, which is super handy for games and plugins that save piles of player stats and data.

Database Information

Pop open the Database tab to view your credentials. In here you'll find:

• PhpMyAdmin Hostname & Username
• MySQL Hostname, Username, & Port

Note: Your PhpMyAdmin password is hidden by default. Click "View Password" to reveal it.

Updating Credentials

If you need to refresh your database credentials:

1. Click Update Credentials or Set new PhpMyAdmin Credentials.
2. Type in your Current Account Password to prove you're you.
3. Choose a new database password. (Make sure it's a strong mix of letters and numbers).
4. Save the changes. Don't forget to update any plugins that were configured with your old password, otherwise they'll throw database connection errors!

FastDL (Fast Downloads)

If you're hosting Source engine games (like Garry's Mod or CS:GO), you'll see our FastDL features:

• Nginx Powered: Our FastDL setup runs on ultra-fast, high-performance Nginx web servers.
• This lets players joining your server grab custom maps, models, and textures in a flash directly from a web directory, rather than sitting through painfully slow game-server downloads.
• You'll find your FastDL Hostname and FastDL Directory listed in the panel if your game supports this.
